Vittoria said in there installation video that the liner shouldnt be damaged and I could imagine some unbalance issues since the weight distribution isnt even anymore if you remove material.
Haha I always double down with two CO2s and a handpump
But we’re already poking holes in it to thread a ziptie through. I imagine sealant will clog anything small but just curious if anyone has tried.
I bought these in 80mm

Work great with the Road AirLiners - the road version comes as a continuous loop and you just pop it on (no poking holes and zip ties).
Oh right the road ones you don’t poke holes in. Gravel/mtb you do.
Those valves are perfect!
Me too, but it’s so small to make no difference carrying to be honest.
I did say apart from safety. Never mind the Tour, Roubaix there was enough tyres off the rim! But I did think the ride flat was a specific benefit of the airliners over other options.
Ahh sorry, English is not my first language and sometimes I don’t get the message ![]()
Today is stormy dark filthy, wet and a flat front tyre to boot, luckily I could continue. Felt a bit wobbly going over the many broken branches and bumbs in the road but I got to work on time
