If I plan a threshold workout then add an endurance ride after. Say a 75 minute and a 30 minute and load them while in a zwift ride, will both be recognized? I ended up just picking a 105 minute ride, so maybe that is the better choice.
I’ll often do two workouts in the same Zwift session. Start and finish the first workout, but don’t end the ride. Just go into the menu and start your second workout.
I think doing that can mess up how TR links the planned workouts to the rides - unless TR has fixed it?
Hey @LacticacidMCB
Are both TR Workouts that you’re speaking of?
If so, you will want to load them separately so that each is matched individually.
If you load a TR Threshold workout and then continue with 30 minutes of endurance without ending the ride, the ride file will be considered as 1 for the Threshold workout and won’t be split and matched to each TR Workout.
In conclusion, if you want credit for both TR Workouts (Threshold and Endurance) you will have to save them separately. If you don’t mind, you can just extend your Threshold workout with 30 minutes of endurance and let it all sync to the Threshold TR Workouts. You will get PL credit for the Threshold, but the system can read the entire ride data.
Both would be TR, but the only reason I was thinking of doing it would be to get more TR workouts to help with AI FTP detection which feels like a silly reason.
Not a silly reason! ![]()
Either way, it won’t affect AI FTP Detection as the system is taking all data points. What it will affect are your Progression Levels.
