Race wheels make a big difference in how a bike looks. Congrats on the bike. It’s nice.

Black looks better than gum walls

First baby steps outside today.

Geometry felt bang on so will be tidying everything up and putting on the bar tape.

Trek Emonda SLR 9 Disc Project One with Quarq pm. No picture, it’s in a box traveling cross country. Just in time for the start of the summer.

I recently upgraded my dedicated turbo bike into a single speed, nice to be able to take it for a spin and just have some fun.

The machine I’m riding everywhere for 2019. BMC Track Machine 02, Spinonthese wheels, fabric saddle, BMC cockpit, aarn/EAI/Izumi/Ceramic Speed drivetrain, Conti GP5000 front/Hardshell back (since I’m brakeless and need to skid).

Back at the top of Mandeville Canyon Road in LA last week.

Emonda SLR 9, matte dnister, trek gloss black. So dark, its tough seeing what it is. Quarq power meter and XXX 4 wheelset.

Finally finished the do it all bike build.

This will be general road endurance build.

Next up will be getting some rubber to fill that clearance for gravel build.

If they’d made the disc version in that paint job I’d probably have got it instead of my Bianchi. I hecking love it.

They actually had an almost identical paint job in disc version, the only difference was the purple-ish part was a darker purple. I can’t find it on the specialized webpage but I remember looking at it a couple of times when I was purchasing my frame.

coincidentally I was just watching a race analysis by Norcal Cyclist on youtube and happened to spot a disc brake version of this frameset.

Looks great! I’m a sucker for an all black stealth machine, and Project One to boot!

My Titus Fireline Titanium 29er MTB with tubeless Schwalbe G-one road tyres. My N=1 multi purpose bike!

Back on the trainer now after its weekly outing.

A better picture of my Ribble R872, this time in the wild and with bar tape

My new bike. It’s a Moots MX RSL with SRAM AXS, Hope E3 X2 brakes, Enve M525s, eeWings crank with Stages, RSL stem, Enve M5 bar and Fox Factory 32SC. I ate a lot of beans and ramen to save up for it, but it was worth it. I love this bike.
Built by Bobby Wintle and Austin Turner at District Bicycles in Stillwater, OK.

My new race bike:

2019 Specialized Allez Sprint. It’s fully stock at the moment with a complete 105 build and DT Swiss R460 alloy wheels…but big changes are coming.

I’ve only been on two rides so far, but man is this bike a blast. Instant response to power and almost telepathic steering. I can’t wait to start hammering around the local crit series!

Just looked at this, out of the 10 markings from least to most, I’m at #3 away from most compliant, and it’s dreamy.
