The saddle looks like its about 2.5cm too high but as its a Factor bike you probably haven’t noticed and its a beaut of a bike regardless

Couple questions: what mount is that off your saddle? And I noticed you have a 105 crank arm on the bike. Is that a replacement because I know the SLR7 comes with Ultegra?
Nice looking bike! I’m a little biased though as I also have a SLR7

Wow, that frame pops! I am shocked how clean it came out. What a great find and great rebuild. Hopefully another white crankset shows up on ebay. Im looking forward to watching your rb1 build next.

Nice catch!! Yes it’s a 105 R7000 crank with a 4iiii power meter. The bike does have an Ultegra group set. I took the Ultegra crank off to send to 4iiii to install a power meter and I’m just using the old one I had on my Domane until it arrives.

The saddle mount if I understand what you mean is for a Garmin Varia radar. The mount fits in the Blendr mount on the Aeolus RSL saddle…

Thanks!! It’s an awesome bike!! Can’t wait to get faster on it with TR!!

What brand mount for the radar is it? I currently have a 3D printed one from Shapeways but the angle is a little off.
Are those the RSL wheels on the bike or the Pro’s. When I got my bike my local shop had a set of 62mm RSL wheels in stocks and agreed to take the stock wheels from my Madone and give me the full value against the RSL.

Oh the mount is from a company called Bup Labs or something… I got it over a year ago… there’s more options now. But that mount is solid!

The mount is Bup Labs or something…

It’s a Trek Bontrager Blendr Mount for Garmin Varia by Bup Labs (just checked my email). I think it also has an attachment if you want for a GoPro instead… but it fits the Blendr mount on the saddle.

Yes the wheels are RSL 51s it was like half price with the Project 1 order so I added them.

Thanks! Yes, it came out great. I wish the vid captured it well but the machine polishing did wonders on it.

great build! i love the shimano tri color with the dura ace cranks. i also liked your idea to remove the bearing cage to get more balls in there and get more stiffness. corn cob cassettes still look fast!

Really pretty colorway. Not what I would see myself looking to build from scratch based on the project-one colorways, but that is really nice. That’s why I like seeing people’s bikes in “real life” photos with actual sunlight etc. rather than pretend colors online. Nicely done!

What specific colors are they? Trek White with Rage red?

Thanks!! Actually… I was smitten by the red fade that is one of the stock colors but someone suggested to me if you have to order a P1 might as well make it unique… so I did… it’s actually White Prismatic with Rage Red logo… I haven’t had much sun yet to get photos outside but it’s going to be pretty sharp!!
