To cut or not to cut... fork steer tube?

Also if you rotate the bars forward it will bring the drops back closer to you and make them more usable/comfortable. Right now with the bars the way they are the drops are kind of pulled away from you. Give it a try

Thought I’d share an update after taking the bike in to the shop to cut the tube and clean up the routing.

I went from the 25mm down to the 15 but left enough for two 5mm spacers just in case. I probably would have been fine with just one but figured it’s something I could go back to do anytime. Will look even better (imo) but an improvement no less.

In terms of the routing, it’s definitely much cleaner and probably as ‘clean’ as it’ll look due to bike design.

I know some manufactures actually say to have at least 5mm of space above to make sure the stem isn’t grabbing the tippy tip of the steerer. Not sure if this is fork or stem specific or both but makes sense to grab a little lower. Cable routing definitely much cleaner now

Agreed on all accounts, and very tidy looking. Proper setup
