Hanging out to put these on. I’m saving that new rubber feel until about 3-4 weeks out. Enough to make sure they are bedded in properly/no issues.

Nice bike but QQ slightly off topic (apologies): when you say ‘new chainring’ can you elaborate? Did that mean replacing PM too as I recall they are integrated?

It’s all in one thing. Didn’t bin the other chainring, but wanted the 52/39 for racing.

Ok, while I’m waiting for the new tanwall GP5000 TL to materialize, I got a great deal on Schwable Pro One 32mm tires so I had to they them. There’s plenty of tan (of more of a caramel I guess) so they can’t be that bad.

Going to take them on a quick test ride tonight and can’t wait!

I agree the tan wall looks great on a road bike. Definitely a fan of the Turbo Cottons for the summer.

But for the MTB side which is starting to catch, I’m not a fan (yet). Just doesn’t seem practical unless you ride/live where its dry and can maintain the same sidewall color.

yep i loved my TCs but concur It seems that I have had more flats. I had to switch to GP5000 tan wall because of TC supply chain issues and because of the flats I blew thru my backup set of TCs…I bought the GP5000s online and am a little nervous going back to the LBS for some bike maintence as I"m usally big time brand loyalty and get 90% of my stuff from the LBS… Not sure of the performance issues between the two although first thoughts are that the TCs seem smoother and faster but no controlled testing just my initial impressions but it’s not a deal breaker if the LBS dosent have TCs I’ll order another set of GP5000s.

Honestly fashion/trends are not my cup of tea, and some cycling trends don’t make sense aesthetically .
