I injured myself pretty badly during a recent gran fondo, aside from the massive cramps I also had an IT band flare up that has really inflamed my right knee. It’s been about 5 days since the GF but I’m planning on taking at least another week off to make sure my knee heals up.
At this point, I’m not preparing for any other events but I keep wanting to build my fitness. With that said should I go back to Base phase or stay in the Build phase? I was in the middle of short-power build when I stopped for the GF.
