I’m also hoping some workaround will be achieved to restore standard mode. I have a Tacx Neo 2 and am trying to use it to ascertain various gearing/cadence/accelerations for sprinting on the track when we are finally allowed back. I find it strange that other Apps, Zwift, Tacx etc seem to replicate the curved line of a fluid trainer (at least in feel) under the same connection protocols that TR are limited by?
