But Trek is doing this much more aggressively…moreover, they are targeting shops that are also big Specialized dealers. Perfect examples is Spokes, Etc. in the DC area (I used to manage one of their stores WAY back in the day). They just agreed to sell to Trek…but they were also a huge Specialized dealer. So Specialized just lost 6 stores form one of the biggest retailers in the DC area.
