Really difficult to say - What value is money to you?
I’ve been using a smart trainer for a month or two now, it’s a bit different, Erg mode has been an interesting challenge.
Do I think it has revolutionised my training?
No, it has not.

For the most part I was just as happy training with my KK Road Machine as I am my Kickr Core. I was able to do the workouts just as well (probably much more focused). What I like most about going with the Kickr is the direct drive. The wheel on trainer always squared my tire and at the time I did not have a extra rear wheel. That was my biggest complaint. I always thought the Road Machine had a great road like feel. I still own it just in case my Kickr goes up in flames.
