I don’t race dirt bikes anymore but I sure miss it
I was in the process of trying to fit 18x12s with 335/30/18 Hoosiers on my Evo before i stopped racing, 'twas no easy feat.
You’d be surprised, it obviously depends on the series, the car, the team, but there are plenty of lower tier cars out there that are put together beautifully. Just depends!
I used to follow time attack back in the day and was always amazed at the quality of some of the builds that the “amateur” guys showed up with
I learnt to drive in my brother’s 205GTI. My dad had helped him buy it so I dont think he could say no
Lol, My driver instructor crashed his Micra a week or so before my test; his replacement was a 1.2. I was the first person to pass in it as no one could handle a ‘powerful’ engine. A 1.2 micra is hardly powerful compared to a 205 GTI ![]()

My neighbor has one of those toasters too. Great way to make a 2car garage into a 4car.
I’ve had it for a little over 6 months and absolutely love it.
Same, but mine is an MGM.
Am I delusional in thinking this last of the analog STIs will someday be a classic?
Only cool car I’ve ever owned (I no longer have it
) It was fully stock when I bought it; I lowered it, stripped it out, front and rear strut braces, seats, harnesses, steering wheel (not in pics). It was glorious. A dream car. Mk2 Golf GTi 16v (1989 crossover model, small bumper but with all the electric and nicer parts of a big bumper).
Unfortunately following that one I’ve been a serial company car guy, so had nothing of particular note.
But I am a bike guy…
Current steed - 2007 Aprilia RSV1000R
Previous machines…

It’s a Rivian R1T
I assume that the car was a SFWD?
Did the rollover happen at MIR WCF?
Very cool!
I have been to Cecil a few times and miss Englishtown!
I worked with Speed Factory, Ramey Built, DPS and… CMR during the SFWD great chase for 7’s. I did not have my hands on or talk to many VW base platforms although I always admired them over the years.
I stepped out of that industry in '19 and they have gotten very quick. I still do some consultation work on small displacement turbo applications. I have probably talked to every 6-second or bottom 7-second AWD import vehicle in the last few years.
Here is a picture of me repairing the Proccolino Evo turbo on-site moments before it ran the worlds first evo 7-sec pass.
The i3 was hands down my favorite BMW to drive ![]()
If I lived out in the country I would 100% have a motorcycle again.
Had an old Suzuki…but too many close calls…decided it was not a matter of if but when a crash happened…and I am an ultra safe driver/rider. Like wont go over the speed limit generally (well I’ll fudge it 5mph…).
