I have no experience with Shimano XT. I’m sure they’re fine. But the day I bought my first pair of Look X-Track changed everything. In a blink of an eye I couldn’t stand any other pedal anymore (especially eggbeaters, haha). I now own 3 pairs, and I use them on a SS HT, full squish, and gravel bikes.
