Ride Photos / Action Shots!

Thanks man. We are lucky to have some amazing photographers at many of our races in Texas:) This one is framed above the tv in front of the trainer:)

Time when I first done my 200k brevet(ACP approved one in South Korea) 2 years ago(sep 2017). Never thought human being can ride that long, but finished in time. On that day me and my friend said this is outrageous and will never do it again… and done 4 more brevet since then. Perfectly normal cyclists.

I’m framing this one & hanging it over the tv in front of the trainer! :love_you_gesture::boom:

Does it feel weird going uphill instead of downhill? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Late reply but how did you like the Hilly Billy? I was thinking of coming down for it this year, but I don’t have a gravel bike. Figured a hardtail 29er would do?

The good old days of swimming, riding, and running in your speedo!

It’s a fun race/ride, I really enjoy the atmosphere. The course is well marked, good aid stations, etc.

I’ve done it once on a HT and once on a gravel bike, both worked well… there’s no “right” choice for this ride. There are plenty of people on mountain bikes and some of them are very fast (relative to me, of course).

Conditions can be pretty extreme on course. First time (2015) it was cool, raining, super deep mud pits as wide as the road, unbelievably sloppy and fun. Last year was much dryer and warm, which has it’s own challenges. Will likely do it again this year, see you there!

If ever asked, the answer is always, “yes…yes, I HAVE ridden my bike down Lakeshore drive wearing a Speedo”.

(Referring to Bud Light series race in Chicago).

My photo and cycling buddy wanted to shoot some pics on a freezing cold day in Manhattan and he had one request, “wear shorts”.

Haha! For a bit of context, this was a photo shoot for the London 2012 Olympics. It was hot a heavy riding in that kit, probably not the most aero either!
