The new Flextail Zero power banks don’t charge the Exposure Six Pack. I was really hoping I could ditch my big Anker powerbank in favour of a couple of smaller ones. It might be time to upgrade

I just took the plunge and ordered one of the new updated Exposure lights with the USB C port and supposed better compatibility with external power banks. Assuming it’ll work with my Nitecore NU10000’s. I went with the Maxx D Mk17 in my case, with two of next year’s races all of the single track variety and around the 300 mile mark, I should be able to get through one and half nights on a decent setting. I had been fairly happy with the Fenix BC26r, but in the most recent two races its been a total crap shoot with some batteries lasting like an hour, while others will get me 6 hours.
You could try a different cable. I just had this pop up in my YT suggestions for some reason… https://youtu.be/wPIJEFVetW0
Seems a little whacky that Exposure doesn’t brand a small battery bank that would be compatible with their lights. Sure would solve some issues for a portion of their customer base..
Like the Support Cell?
Suspect they won’t bother updating the Support Cell for the USB-C models and it looks discontinued now - too many other power bank options out there.
This is a pre-USB-C version, so you’re stuck using their proprietary cable ![]()
Thankfully, I managed to snag a really good deal on a USB-C version in the Black Friday sales, so hopefully this’ll be the end of my charging problems ![]()
