Can someone from TR confirm that their implementation of NP is as per Coggan’s post here?
I’ve been trying to reconcile TR’s NP calculations which seem to be giving me larger than expected TSS figures for my daily commute. (thread here)
There are potentially a number of things to explore (including my power meter output), but if I hand calculate NP by downloading the strava gpx and using Average(rolling 30s average ^ 4)^0.25 (per Dr C’s post), I get 10+ watts below TR’s NP figure. Because of the sensitivity of this figure around FTP this is leading to a large inflation of TSS.
Can someone confirm?
