I watched one from that season where Sven looked to be struggling at the back of the lead group of 4. He was dismounting and running sections the others were riding. ‘Guy’s looking a bit past it’ I thought. Then last lap he comes through like an express train, literally shoulders Lars VDH off the course and rides everything! Awesome viewing
