I own DMTs and I need to correct some of your points:

• They are probably the narrowest shoes on the market. INCORRECT; my SiDis are significantly narrower
• There wasn’t any side support in the toe “box”, so it was a toe “triangle”. It’s more of a bag, so it just abuses the top of your toe knuckles. If you leave the adjustment slightly loose, your foot moves around a bunch; too tight and your foot gets destroyed from the inside.
• It’s impossible to get the shoe without it tugging your sock in a painful way. SUBJECTIVE; i have never had this very specific issue
• There isn’t room for an insole other than the one provided. The arch is pre-molded.
• They are SUPER vented, so I hope it is 85f+ outside or you’ll be the only one wearing toe covers when it’s 80f outside. HYPERBOLIC; i have worn these down to the 50’s.
• The knit fabric holds a lot of dirt. CORRECT; you need a lot of elbow grease to keep these clean

Lake CX 403 shaped perfectly to my feet have 1 foot slightly longer than the other and these can accommodate. Although the toe does scuff up a bit

Hyperbolic! Ha! It was probably the lack of blood flow to certain parts of my feet.

And 50f without toe covers? You don’t need to suffer!
