MTB Skills the Cone Slalom

@Jonathan, Can you give some direction on the slaloming thru cones? Foot position especially. Should the feet be parallel, or outside leg down on turns? A youtube example would be great!

I generally take turns outside foot down. Unless alternating turns are in quick succession, in which case I go with feet parallel as there’s not enough time to adjust foot position in a smooth manner.

Dropping the outside foot is a technique used to increase traction and stability, but if the turns come in sufficiently quick succession, and the turns aren’t that severe, there’s likely no need to drop your outside foot.

We’ll actually be working on some content along these lines this summer!
