Monitor - 1 workout loads to black screen

Trying to load my planned workout tonight, monitor-1, workout just loaded to a blank black screen.

Had to close and reopen TR and find a alternative, tried 3 times and got 3x black screens.

Everything up to date as far as I know - can get version numbers if needed.

Oh that’s frustrating. We can get this sorted.

Did you try loading other Workouts?

Here’s what I’d like you to do:

  • Restart the device your running TrainerRoad on.
  • Let’s have you close out of any app running in the background.
  • Uninstall and Reinstall the app.

Give those steps a shot and then try loading Monitor -1. It would be a good idea to test with a couple of other Workouts too. Let me know how that goes or if you have any other questions :slight_smile: .

Closed TR, restarted my machine and then chose Abbey as an alternative, that is running fine.

Only other app running was Chrome both times.
Haven’t tried uninstall and reinstalling, don’t have time for that tonight, time pressed to do my workout as it is!

Okay, let me know how you get on when have had the chance to uninstall and reinstall the app.

To do this, you’ll just delete the app and then you can grab a fresh version of our app from our website here [click].

That should just take a couple of minutes if your internet connection is reasonably strong :+1:.

Downloaded, removed via “add or remove…”, reinstalled, try to run the workout, black screen.

Aaaah bummer.

I think this is an issue specific to your device so I’ve dm’d you with some steps that should allow us to get everything running smoothly again.

Hang on, are you saying that Monitor -1 makes…your monitor go blank?

I might ride OLED +50 on my next scheduled session and see what happens
