Hello I bought a zipp XPLR 101 wheelset for my canyon grizl. I Can’t find information on the compatibility of maxxis tires with hookless rims. I already have a pair of Maxxis Reavers and also Maxxis Ramblers to use on those wheels. Has anyone had any experience?
my thoughts too. have you tried on hookless rims if its compatible?
best bet would be to email Maxxis. I had to do the same thing with challenge to find out and they are currently still in testing to determine compatibility because apparently the XPLR wheel has a bespoke spec
There is a difference between the XPLR 101 wheels, which the OP was referring to, and the new 303 XPLR wheels, which has the new, very wide internal width (the likely “bespoke” spec).
