Agree - this was a limitation of the threshold protocol - no high intensity stuff Like I said in my summary takeaway, I don’t view this as showing Polarized is better than Threshold (as defined in the study), but that a Polarized approach delivers improvements at training volumes in the range of 7-8 hrs per week.
