Short Version: I love it.

Price: not gonna comment on “if it’s worth it” other than they have a 30 day money back guarantee where you can actually ride it. so you’re not gonna buy it and hafta sell it on ebay for 60% off or anything. Otherwise it’s obviously at the tippy-top end $-wise for saddles.

Where it shined for me: 1) allows me to rotate my entire pelvis forward with ease and without rounding my lumbar spine 2) no saddle sores

Pluses: looks cool, low weight, cushioning / firmness is perfect for me, has held up well for one year + (no noticeable wear), happy to support a small company trying to make my favorite hobby better…also when the cushioning wears out I believe you can get them to redo just that part? I dunno I have ridden mine and it’s showing zero wear in over a year.

Story: I have tried > 12-15 great saddles and never got where I needed. I finally found a satisfactory saddle with the help of a bike fitter that I rode around for a while. I gave the Wove Mags a shot and I could immediately feel my pelvis was able to rotate forward super easy. In fact, it completely messed up my bike fit. I wound up having to extend my reach and lower it.

just got a second bike a few months ago and I used the “satisfactory” saddle (just cause the second bike was bought as a frame and as I built it up I wanted a functional bike - wasn’t sure if the bike was a keeper or not). anyway, once I got the bike up and running, I threw the Wove saddle on…same exact thing happened. I had to extend my reach ~20mm and lowered stack ~10mm.

Am I faster? I’m lower and longer, how can I not be faster? I’m sure it’ll take time for my muscles to adapt. I don’t time myself too much - I just train and don’t race.

So after a few years of playing around, I now own 2 Wove Mags saddles. I will never sell the saddle if I move off the bike (or whatever I’d buy a brand new one instantly).

Figure I’d add my 2 cents here too. Short version - love this saddle, I now have two of them.

Out of curiosity, what makes this saddle special? On virtual paper (aka their website) it doesn’t seem special special, just “made correctly” (e. g. “not too hard, not too soft”).

For me, the full length channel design works. And, the foam is harder than it would appear, but not “plastic” hard if that makes sense - pretty firm and just works for me. Definitely harder and more firm than the Fizik 3D Printed or Specialized Mirror Saddles I’ve tried.

I also have bigger muscled thighs (not huge, but definitely not skinny cyclist either) so I’ve had some saddles where I get thigh rub if the nose is too long, and these work fine for me.

They are expensive - but I’m also doing as much as I can to take as much pressure off the prostate area as I can too which led me down this route, and then it ended up working out better overall than the saddle I’d been using on all my bikes (Selle Italia Superflow). I’d put them on all my bikes but they are $$$

They’re also lightweight carbon too which is a bonus.
