Must be due to the difference in torque to do the same work. 300W@100rpm=28.66Nm. 300W@50rpm=57.32Nm. I really have no clue though but, I find this whole thread fascinating especially how it’s related to strength endurance work.
For those who lift and know what they are talking about: what’s the difference if you leg press 500lbs 5 itmes vs. 100lbs 50 times? Same adaptation (assume the same work done)?
