Let's see your paincave!

Good eyes!

That brick is actually from my wife’s elementary school, they tore it down last year.

I’ve not killed any pistons yet! The ones I had them make have been holding up great at 50+psi of boost!!

Sure!

It’s a 2.3L 4G63, here is a little video I made when the car was first put together;

After that the car went under the knife for some much needed safety equipment - it was then converted over to Ethonal and we tested a few different turbochargers. The next outing at the track it went 9.1@153 with a 1.58 60’ (she had gone 1.41 the pass before), the car went to “street” duty at that point and “played” a lot.

The car was sold in 2015 as someone made an offer that could not be refused

I bought a Cobra then and played with it for a while;

I ultimately sold it in 2016 to a really good friend for a truck and camper to start bike racing/ironman training!

It was easy to let it go as I have been in the automotive performance industry for 8 years, i’ve had a bunch of other turbo cars also.

To my knowledge the pistons Weisco made have held up to 1000hp or so of continued abuse, they were pretty trick for the time with a lot of Gas Porting and allowing us to get the stroke and RPM we wanted (9300rpm).

Gave it all a spring clean this morning. All the cabling is clipped beneath the worktop and holes drilled in the surface at the appropriate places There’sa Denon amp to the left and a Mission sub on the floor in the bottom right hand corner.

Haha, “tiny”. Looks to be at least 5x the size of my space…

That would be good for rollers, no room to fall off…

Don’t you feel like the air runs out in there?

There’s a window just to the left of the handlebars where I could probably add another small fan.

It’s been fine through the winter, but I’m a bit worried about the rest of the year. There is an AC unit on the opposite wall of the room that this one opens to, so that should help by sending cool air directly to my back.
