thats a tight fit!

@SamMose, I don’t know if you already know this, but in a podcast episode, Jonathan said that hanging a mountain bike could lead to damage on the suspension. He’s my only source on this though, so it’s entirely possible that you know more than I do.

Yeah that’s my roommates. I told him about that and how it could impact the seals and he basically said “bahhumbug, I don’t believe that”
My Roubaix does not get hung.

I am using the bathroom. Quite convenient for going from the bike to the shower. The only problem is, I have to set up before, and pack everything away after each session…

Nice doilies, nice Trek.

I’m not convinced, they get BATTERED during every ride, they go through hell! I’m not sure how hanging could really cause issues.

Me and wife moved to our first owned home this may.
I’m using a non occupied room yet (kids to be added later) as my pain cave.

2 fans, AC, a 5.1 sound system around my bike, TR both on notebook and on a smartphone and a good old KK Road Machine. I love how it feels.

My bikes can be stored on the office, to where I’ll have to move in the future.

And I also have an OK gym, a sauna and a hot tube just a few floors downstairs.

And a 19m pool for when I don’t want to go to the masters group.

Well, I live 700m from the beach and have good weather all year. But I like so much TR that I only go outsite for the long rides. Running is done mostly outside too.

Yeah. I’m definitely not an expert. I think the idea is that hanging upside vertically pushes the lubricant in the shocks into the seals which stresses the seals and can eventually lead to failure. As I said, I’m not an expert, but it does make sense to me that the seals were not designed for months of vertical hanging.

I have seen paid membership gyms that are kitted out worse than your setup! Mind is blown :exploding_head:

It’s not mine, technically.
It’s shared for all the residents of the building.

Nice setup. Looking at the last picture, looks like you are in BR?

I took a closer look at the picture to check how on earth you figured it out. =)
Still have no idea.

i grew up in SP, so the building styles and building amenities reminded me of home.

Very nice. I’m in Salvador, Bahia, fwiw.

There is only 5-10ml of oil in each leg.

And! If your bike is hanging for months, you’re not riding enough!
