Is anyone using an Aerosensor?

I anyone using an Aerosensor for real time CDA analysis? Would love to hear your experience if so.

Nope. I’m interested in one, but that’s a lot of money. Maybe I can convince the cycling club to buy one for the race team to share.

Hi, I have purchased the Aerosensor, but cannot recommend it.

Unfortunately, I cannot report on the experience of multiple rides as the mount broke on my first sub-2-hour ride.
During the ride, the UI was not very user friendly (despite watching all intro videos and the material).
Despite going through all parameters initially, the CdA shown was very high.

As I bought the device second hand from buycycle, they would not send a replacement unit and only repair for GBP 250 plus shipping.
So If you are thinking about buying the unit, don’t. You are much better off by uploading your ride to My Windsock and checking the CdA there. To me comparing two rides on the same exact course there, was much more insightful than anything that the unit was delivering.

Not right now. Chung Method via Aerolab is super easy for aero if you have a power meter.

Enough to detect aero change of a small headlight or full v a little bit unzipped jersey.

Got access to a Notio this summer to mess with some.

I have a notio and have had some good experiences with it for on road testing. I find it a bit hard to find a good course, but that’s the same with any of these methods.

Even doing Chung method I’d be really tempted to get the aero sensor position sensor to make sure I had a consistent position.
