Big fan of the new update, its working very well for me and getting my intense day workouts a lot harder but still achievable than they used to be. I am curious, though, how TR AI will handle ebike rides synced through strava.
I end up doing a ride or 2 a week on my wifes levo sl with the kids ride shotgun seat attached to take one of my kids out for an MTB ride. I record this on my watch, but there is no power data. The heart rate data is usually ok but there are, of course, some limitations with wrist-based heart rate data.
Does TR AI look at what sort of distance and elevation are achieved on these rides and take them into account? Doing the same ride on my normal MTB would give the same distance and elevation, but a higher heart rate for the same time. I categorize ebike rides as ebike rides in strava but it doesn’t appear in TR. I don’t have power meters on my normal MTB’s either, only on my trainer and gravel bike. Just not sure if I should exclude the ebike rides from TR as there is probably little training effect and could mess with the AI?
