How do you train the Durability?

Right sorry, I assume ftp is a ‘functional’ version of TP. My interpretation is flawed apparently, though maybe understandably so.

“Since by definition the best measure of performance is performance itself, the most direct estimate of your sustainable (threshold) power will be obtained by simply doing a time trial of an hour or so”

So all this to say that one can improve the duration they are at a ‘measured’ mlss (without increasing that mlss) through training. Well frankly I’m not entirely surprised by that. Most likely I’ve only experienced that variation through actual hour power numbers. I’ve never had my mlss tested. I’ve just ridden my bike for an hour to validate my ‘ftp’ numbers, so to me it all seems :person_shrugging:. My ‘mFTP’ <1% higher than my ‘1 hour power’.
