Help Choosing Wheels for a Multi-day Gran Fondo

I’m participating in a 9-day, 5-stage race. I’m currently using a 7kg SL8 with Rapide CLX II wheels (1520g/pair).
My weight is approximately 143 lbs, my power-to-weight ratio is around 3.6 W/kg, and my CP5 is about 5 W/kg.
The elevation gain for the five stages is 1900m, 2100m, 3800m, 2100m, and 3000m.

I’m considering switching to Alpinist CLX II wheels(1230g/pair), which can reduce 300g in weight, or another pair of Chinese carbon wheels (Farsport), with a 30mm depth and a weight of 1130g/pair.

I want to know if the aerodynamic benefits on descents and flat sections can offset the weight disadvantage during climbs, especially when drafting on flat terrain.
Is it worth spending extra money on a dedicated climbing wheelset?

If you have the money to burn or fighting for the podium, buy the lighter wheels. Regarding if you’ll notice a difference in your RPE or overall time, it’s going to be very marginal at best and likely no discernible effect. Stage races are more affected by your ability to recover and your overall nutrition on and off the bike.
