I am going to contact the cardiologist but insurance this year has been denying everything (his words).
I was supposed to have an echo done for the PVC’s but 5000 per day wasn’t over the threshold! (Technically they are correct according to literature but he wanted to get this done as a check and they refused…fun fun…)
Last night’s ride was uneventful.
If some rando-asshole (me) struck fear on part of the OP or anyone else by mentioning afib, I am sorry for that. I am not qualified to make any such diagnosis, nor did I, as any thoughtful reading of my post will show.
However, I may be a bit callous about how people could, possibly, react. I come at this stuff from my own N=1 experience. And that is of a rando-asshole who had a heart attack out in the desert and didn’t get medical attention for 4 days. Once I got to an ER, I have never had a moment’s fear or anxiety about it. Nine years have passed since then. But that’s just me, a rando-asshole. Again, I apologize if my suggestion to consider reading up on a subject caused anyone alarm.
