Getting really pissed off (VO2 Max Difficulty)

Looking forward to this. In concept, it could look something like:

  1. Do the ramp test to get a starting FTP
  2. Do Lamarck as a workout, and adjust FTP based on how far into it you get
  3. Do a VO2max workout like Kaiser, and adjust VO2max % of FTP based on how far into it you get.

This way, your first two workouts are there to fine tune the results you get from the ramp test.

And you could use this information to adjust the results of future ramp tests to get a more accurate FTP, and more accurate VO2max target.

I’m sure there’s also things they could do on an ongoing basis, adjusting appropriately after other tough workouts.
