I have the RVR315 and within a year it’s the 3rd time the power button has jacked in (worn out into a hole) I think I press it pretty gently, so I cannot recommend that version without the light .
Had this “ghost car” experience during the weekend.
Interestingly, a ride buddy (with a 515) and my own 715 both encountered the same issue at the same time. We could hear the warning chimes from our head units.

Yes, RTFM people its actually how it works! Not bored, LOL, sitting here scheduling meetings and getting ready to go out for a ride. Its actually somewhat ironic comment, because you’ve been known to tell people to search the forum for similar questions/answers
