Froome says goodbye

Oh I don’t know about nostalgia, but there had definitely not been anyone as awesome as Hinault since. Armstrong was the closest but was a complete sociopath unfortunately.

If I’m going to pick old racing to watch, it would be 90s stuff all the way anyhow, cause that stuff was batshit crazy to watch.

Tell that to Greg Lemond… (I know, I know…different times)

cars,an has pretty much hit the mail on the head. SKY / INEOS has been able to dominate because if the their team strength. Wiggins, Froome, Thomas, Bernal…insert the rider necessary and capable.

Will ISN be able to keep Froome out of trouble on the seemingly benign days? Not with their current lineup…but they have said they will be looking to add strength and experience. If Froome is able to return from his injuries at something near his previous self, he can probably fend for himself in the mountains by being aggressive…but I don’t think he’ll be close to the same rider now.

I agree, he’s definitely a generational talent. He’s also got the will and desire to commit to win and isn’t afraid to step on toes to get what he wants. At that age, pretty amazing.

I have just become a Chris froom fan
