So looks cool but I’m pissed about two things.
- 5 piece only group: I already have an eagle cassette, crank, and chain. I don’t need to be re-buying 3 items and trying to sell the others on ebay. Lame decision.
- Price: the cassette, crank, and chain are about $1060 MSRP on SRAMs site. If this is a $2000 5 piece group that means the shifter and derailleur are a $1000 combo?.. Anyone jazzed about riding a $700 RD down the trail? or a $300 shifter?
We’ll see. I may still end up with the components but I don’t know about this pricing for something on a MTB. It’s kinda like installing this level of stuff on a crit bike…not the best decision.
