n=1 but have been doing heat training work where the HR is 30+ BPM higher for given power and have not seen it effect the next days so long as I “Lie” to the AI and mark it easy. It was easy from a power POV lol
I stopped using HR going into this season. I found mine to be too variable, and because of that too much of a mental stressor. However this is after 5+ years of training experience so I wouldn’t recommend it to any beginners.
So yeah, +1 for Power & RPE both being very important !
