Not bad here in Mississippi for year round riding… but I think some of the other southern states probably have us beat with slightly more elevation to work with, such as Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, even parts of Alabama. Can be quite hot in late summer months though, but once acclimated its not so bad.

One might argue that if acclimation is needed, it’s probably not the best place for year round riding. 
Fair point! Outside of the South and perhaps parts of Cali, I don’t know how many other parts of the country that you can truly ride year around. I will also say… while it does get quite hot here, I can confirm that I’ve been hotter in southern California during a “heat wave.” 110+ in the canyons outside of LA.
