Best fitness tracker ring for men and women-Expert recommendations to choose

I researched the best smart rings as my doctor advised me to start tracking my sleep and overall wellness more closely. i have been experiencing irregular sleep patterns and constant fatigue, so i figured a smart ring might help me stay consistent. i went through reviews from trusted sources like PC Mag and Tech Radar and after comparing many options these two kept coming up as the top choices:

Oura Ring 4 Silver Smart Ring

Samsung Galaxy Ring

however, i am having trouble deciding which one would be better for me and i would love to get your expert advice and hoping maybe some fitness enthusiasts or people who already use these devices on this forum can also share their advice.
i usually focus more on sleep tracking and recovery insights, but i also want accurate heart rate and stress monitoring. do you think the Oura Ring 4 would give me more detailed data, or is the Samsung Galaxy Ring a smarter long-term option with its ecosystem support?

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Have you considered Whoop 5?

Oura 3 user here for several years. Sleep tracking is on point, and the rings have improved with firmware updates throughout the years I’ve been a user.

For example, the Ouras now will estimate your blood O2 levels while sleeping, which could be really good for people who suspect they might have sleep apnea. I kind of wish I would’ve had it years ago before I did a study and got a CPAP because I wonder if it would’ve triggered me to do so much earlier and save myself years of being underslept!

I’d say you need to be careful what you expect from these wellness trackers. I don’t think any of them are game-changers for most people who are self-aware and have a good sense of their bodies.

That said, I find them useful in retrospect, and I believe Oura does an excellent job with sleep tracking, HRV overnight and resting heart rate, as well as helping to detect “other things” that may be stressing your body.

My usual caution to most people is that I wouldn’t get one of these trackers expecting it to tell me when or how hard to work out on any given day. I think most of them (Whoop and Oura and Garmin specifically, no experience with Samsung) just essentially tell you what you already probably feel.

I asked a similar question a couple of months ago. I was open to rings or other types. Here’s that short thread. I wound up getting a Garmin Venu3.

thanks for your feedback.i suggested two products that come to top after many reviews and researched. whoop 5 and other are good at their place but these are the top

And of course the new Polar wearable is due to be released on September 3rd.
