Where and how are you mounting bear spray to a gravel bike that can be quick access while staying secure on rocky descents?
I’ve seen zip ties, straps, jersey pocket, 3d print, top tube bag, nothing seems amazing here.
You can get a plastic adapter so that it fits into a bottle cage. I use that sometimes, if I don’t need that bottle mount for hydration. It’s very secure. Other times I just put the bear spray directly in the jersey back pocket.
I carry a can of pepper spray that is larger than most pepper-spray cans but smaller than a full-on can of bear spray clipped in a loop on the front of my USWE hydration vest. I ride a LOT in the woods in the very early morning and do see wildlife frequently, including black bears and the very occasional mountain lion.
My wife calls it “seasoning…”
…for me, of course, so I’m fully flavored for that big cat….
