Has anyone raced the Badlands Gravel Battle? Looking for equipment suggestions. Riding a Pivot Vault with clearance for 50mm tires. Planning for the 120mile. How does the terrain ride? High puncture risk? Any tire suggestions?
I did the Maah Daah Hey MTB race and also rode some gravel out there. The gravel is pretty smooth out there, Cat 1, Cat 2 at worst. I would worry about punctures.
