I’d happily just wear skin suits. They are often cheaper than buying separately and you never forget to wash half of the kit and it all keeps together.
They are also more flattering (less bunching around the belly), and if you think you look good you ride good.
Plus they should be faster, no one ever complains about a few extra watts of less drag.

100%. I’m 6’1” wearing a small jersey yet somehow it’s still bunches. It’s too long! Also, a skin suit is slightly lighter than Bibs and Jersey (50g+).

Are there any super light/mesh skinsuits out there?
Currently in the market for a race outfit this summer, but A races are most likely all in 100+ heat, so been looking at mesh jerseys (like Velocio Radiator etc.).
Wondering whether a skinsuit would be worth the trade-offs
