The length of the different Build and Base blocks available in TrainerRoad
Base:

  • Sweet Spot Base I- 6 weeks
  • Sweet Spot Base II- 6 weeks
  • Traditional Base I - 4 weeks
  • Traditional Base II- 4 weeks
  • Experimental) 6 Week Polarized Plan- (base phase)

Build:

  • Short Power Build- 8 weeks
  • Sustained Power Build- 8 weeks
  • General Build- 8 weeks
  • (Experimental) 8 Week Polarized Plan- (build phase)

When going through Plan Builder, you have the option to swap in any of the Build Phases.

In the Base phase, you can swap in any alternative Base Phase, except for Traditional Base. Traditional Base’s unique block length makes it difficult to use as a direct substitute for Sweet Spot Base. This is something we’d like to address in the future!
