2026 inexpenive smart trainer recs

I’ve been very happy with my Kicker Core for the past 4 or 5 seasons, and its still going strong. But I’m thinking about a second smart trainer for my work apartment where I spent 2-3 months a year. Now that low end smart trainers are running in the $300-$500 range, it seems justifiable to add a second smart trainer so I can add more consistency to my schedule.

Would I be best off simply adding a new Kicker Core 2 since I’ve had great experience with my existing Core, or are the TacX, Zwift, or other sub $500 units worth a look?

Get the Core 2. Currently $400 with a Zwift Cog. The only other thing to consider is if you are tight on space and want something more portable is getting a Feedback Sports Omnium.
