2023 Giant Propel Announced

Anyone been able to ride the SL 0 vs the Pro 0? Seems like a steep doubling in price to the SL model given the weight difference and overall specs? I have an older SL 0 currently so keen to understand how things have moved on…

Or you can do all of the above AND pedal harder and be even faster than if you just pedaled harder.

I don’t believe in marginal gains… but everyone knows that.

This mirrors Canyon Aeroad pricing.

It’s not like the bike is covered with team stickers. It looks great!

The new Look Blade 795 RS is a real…looker. That price though ($5900 USD for the frameset)

I saw a great condition used Propel Ultegra Di2 12s (in the dark blue/purple-ish frame) the other day for $6000. Kind of kicking myself for not jumping on it

Absolutely love Look bikes. My Monoblade TT is a dream and the engineering is just a delight.

I was considering upgrading to a new giant but I’ll be going for the new Look eventually.

That’s true. Must say though the prices in this part of Europe are cheaper than what you get in the US. Seems to apply more than just Giant bikes it seems

Anyone knows an online store in Europe with the best offer for a Propel Advanced 1 Orion nebula?

I’m pleased to say I have the Giant Propel Advanced Pro 1. It’s very nice, handles beautifully, very stable and my first experience with electronic shifting.

I replaced the stock tyres with Michelin Power Road as the stock ones were very very average.

Perhaps it was a sale, because the price on the website is higher?

I can say that I’m already on my second new propel.
I got the first one in december, it was the nebula Orion Advanced 1 (non pro) which came with the Rival group set. I installed the Rival group set on my gravelbike and got a 12spd Ultegra for the Giant, I also used a set of Winspace Hyper D67 wheels and a narrow (38cm) Deda superzero RS handlebar.

It was an amazing bike, loved the colour as well.
Unfortunately I crashed the bike hard at the end of March (I did manage to get 5k km on it), literally every component got damaged except for the saddle !!! (It was a 50kp/h crash with a lot of other riders)

Luckily my lbs had a blue propel advanced pro 0 (Sram force axs) in stock so I snagged that. It’s completely stock except for the gp5000 tr (30mm) but it rides just as good as the first one.

I need to take a trip to Europe. That works out to ~$6000 USD. But the price in the US for that model is $8000 :frowning:

A few Australian dealers have opened up pre-orders for the 2024 Advanced Pro 0 which comes in “Sangria” a pretty sharp looking dark red. I can definitely see myself on one of those. Much nicer than this years deep purple colour.

Sure is!

Nice to see it that the 2024 model will include Ultegra Di2.
