Unbelievably mild in Scotland today so I took advantage and took a couple of passes over the Campsies which are usually covered in ice and snow at this time of year. Today it was +11deg C at 7am 
The weather got better and better as I neared the Campsies but the tops of them looked dreich in places. I half thought about staying low in the 
, but I decided since Iād come this far Iād go up. The looks were confirmed it was dreich in places but not as bad as I feared thankfully.
I probably should have planned it before the ride instead of on the ride and I might have carried more than one bottle
