yet conversely, do a big race like ZRL or FRR and you find that there a 100 riders in your race with nearly the same power profile as you.
What are the units of the y axis 0 to 100?
It’s Google Trends data so just % total searches for a given term. The period with the greatest total searches is arbitrarily set to 100%.
How comes it goes over 100% then?
It doesn’t…Jan. 1 2021 was the peak number of searches, so that was the 100% number. It may visually look like it, but it basically just hits 100%. Every thing else is below 100%.
But Peloton is at 100%, whilst Zwift shows as around 30%. Thus it’s at over 130%.
No, all the other numbers are just in relation to the peak number from Jan. 2021, which is the 100% number.
So the Jan 2021 Zwift searches were 30% of the Jan. 2021 searches for Peloton. The current Peloton searches are ~35% of that peak number from Jan 2021, while Zwift is ~20% of that peak number.
The searches are relative to the peak, not cumulative. for a given point in time.
Which is why the source would be more useful. That screen grab on its own is confusing as to what it is trying to say.
yup…Agreed on that point!!
Shame about the pay wall.
Most of my cycling friends are now using MyWhoosh. It didn’t take a lot to move them away from (mainly) Zwift.
Fulgaz rocks for realism. Myself, I prefer watching videos to cartoons.
Surprised there is no mention of a trainer based RPG game, something simple but with real progression to keep users invested in coming back. Kind of like a tamagotchi
I think we are our own tamagotchi?
You haven’t tried grand theft auto with the trainer mod then….
Mine eats too much…
Grand theft Velo ?
Rouvy has bought fulgaz: Ironman Sells FulGaz to Rouvy, and Plenty More | DC Rainmaker
I imagine they’ll take some of the best content and try to convert the users. I like fulgaz, but don’t like rouvy so I probably won’t be making the move back to that platform.

On the other hand I rode outside the other day with a fast bunch on a relatively flat route and I outpaced my fastest Swift rides with about the same wattage
