does anyone make a properly fast 2.6?
Which just happens to be the exact time they were trying to push “Plus” size tyres but it didnt gain much traction

I’ve ridden the Vittoria Mezcal in 2.6 a few years ago. They are fast on the straight and ok in turns when new, but they wear on the faster side and quickly become pretty sketchy. Kenda also makes the Booster Pro in 2.6.
The one place where I felt the Mezcal 2.6s were noticeably slower was when accelerating. Relative to a decently light 2.4, they felt sluggish to get going from low speed, which makes sense since they would be heavier than a 2.4.
