What does a bonk feel like?

I have never “fell off a cliff”, but have had a gradual erosion in performance where my capability was probably reduced by close to 50% - or at least it sure felt like that!

That’s not bonking, that’s likely due to fatigue, lack of nutrition, dehydration or a combination of all of them.
