San Millan states that a lot of diseases are due to mitochondrial dysfunction. He states that the best way to improve your mitochondria is to cycle through fission and mitophagy, generated mostly by vo2max, and fusion generated by zone 2. That’s his field of research, mitochondria and cancer, so you cannot just put him in the influencer box.
