Wahoo Kickr Core Refurbished Units

Mine failed to do spin downs at some point. Returned it because of that. So yeah, not a good sign.

Have people been having luck with refurbished Kickrs from Wahoo? I’m thinking about a Core specifically.

Originally I had an H2, then got a Kickr bike. Sold the H2, then the bikes kept needing to be replaced, so bought a Tacx 2T so I had something to ride when the bike wasn’t rideable, waiting for a box. So gave the Kickr back, and had a 2T replaced, so got an H3 to have something to ride. Then got a Neo Smart Bike, and have had to use the 2T maybe twice waiting for replacements. (I even killed the 2T when the base started fracturing (pieces shooting across the floor)).

If riding/training is important to you, always have a spare trainer (and bike) or smart bike. I assumed that a ‘bike’ would still be rideable while waiting for boxes or procedure, but not always…

People should check the ‘time for a new trainer’ thread too…
