We discussed this and I added @zwillis1 as an admin to our main TR Discord server.
I just added the “TrainerRoad Race Team” voice channel, that we can use for any event or race.
Would we all have to be the same class level?

You’d only need to be the same race category if you tried to work together. Some races are “split” and don’t have mixed groups together. So you’d need matching team riders to have any chance to work together.
Some races are “combined” and have many (or all) groups in the same event. Those could actually mix, but the general ability levels lead to separation in general. On occasion, you can get a lower level rider that hangs with the faster group. But many times, that is because the person is sand bagging in a lower category.

I was going to but ended up going outside it was too nice. I have done a few of the 8:45pm ET races. Is evening your preferred race time?

I’d be up to figuring out a good race to join each week as part of my TR routine. Having a set of candidates would be a great way for us to try and coalesce

Yeah I think its a great idea to race as a team in whatever Cat suits you best. Each rider then gets Z points and the team gets accumulative Z points. I’m part of a couple of teams, Guttenplan Support Cleaning Racing and INNOVATION .
THE USAC race and Velocious races as mentioned above are two races that happen every week, at the same time, and short 20-30k so not a lot of time, short intense and fun.

I normally do this one on a Wednesday, it’s just a short 25-30 minutes blast. Not sure about tactics other than just holding on for as long as possible

Yes last and only Crit City Race I did i just managed to hold on to the end… and was promptly sick at the finish line

I plan on doing another race tonight, OH MY CRIT! - The Double Race 2/2 miss race 1/2 as I’m commutting, regardless it should be good ‘fun’ trying to hold on!
